CORRECTIONAL FACILITY
This complex includes a Core/Administration Building which houses a boiler and chiller plant and a kitchen that feeds 5,000 inmates and other administrative, medical, educational and industrial functions. There are also four inter-connected housing units for 2,000 inmates.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE DETENTION FACILITY
Engineering services for this project cover the design of a 9’x14’ reinforced concrete underground tunnel for transporting inmates to and from the 16-level, 863,000 SF Detention Center Building and the U.S. Courthouse.

Engineering support services included: Electrical distribution system for new fence security and closed circuit TV system; electrical distribution, lighting, and door control for prison modification and addition; new HVAC system for prison addition; and new water supply, water heating, sanitary and roof drainage system.
